The Hartman is a fantastic multi-purpose space that can be used for weddings, private dinners, meetings, conference spaces, workshops, talks as well as parties.The Hartman provides a unique setting, a combination of the original church structure framed by modern architectural modern decor and white walls. Its high ceilings, original details, a gothic glass window and fascinating history provide a wonderful atmosphere. The clean gallery walls create a modern feel which creates the perfect blank canvas for your event. It seats 55, with standing room for 75, but is equally suitable for smaller groups. Adjacent to the nave is the annex which has been recently renovated to provide overnight accommodations or is a perfect break out space, reception or refreshments area.The private Garden is the perfect addition to any event needing external space. Whether a reception for a summer wedding, an evening drinks party or simply an area for those guests wanting some fresh air, but still involved with the party. This space is also the perfect space for a TENTED garden party for guests up to 120.

Another unique component to the Hartman is the BNB spaces. Here at the Hartman we have incorporated accommodations for our guests to enjoy. The MAIN space, sleeps 7, on the upper level contains 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, perfect for a pre wedding evening for brides and her brides maids, bridal suite for the day of or evening accommodations for after party. The GUESTHOUSE, sleeps 5, is a private getaway located in the back portion of the church, used to be the church hall, and is a self contained private cottage-like bnb. This is the perfect spots for a honeymoon suite or extra accommodations for guests.

The Hartman is a perfect venue for either a laid-back or a lavish wedding in the country, suitable for small weddings of between 20 and 50 guests, with larger weddings of up to 100. The interior of this century building, formerly a church, can be cleverly divided and styled to provide a smaller ceremony area, which can double as a dance floor and a dining area later on. Its remote setting in this corner of unspoiled rural Ontario also makes it ideal for elopements or on a ceremony only basis with a stroll in the countryside afterwards for photographs.
For those of you who dream of an outdoor TENTED WEDDING, we have you covered. Our private garden can be suited with a gorgeous marquee tent, outdoor lounge area, lemonade bars or even a cognac bar! You dream it and we will style it. The Hartman country venue is not partial to only petite weddings. Due to its private and beautiful garden, it makes a perfect site for an outdoor marquee wedding large enough to seat up to 120 guests. Our venue and grounds, with their elegance and grandeur lend a style to your special day that you and your guests will treasure for years to come.

​Facilities and capacity
This venue is ideal for small to mid sized weddings depending on they type of reception you want to have. The facilities include the main floor venue, accomodations for overnight guests in the main space and guesthouse, and there is a fully equipped kitchen on the main floor with in-house meal preparation capacity. The exterior includes the courtyard (seasonal only) which can include a tent in the gardens for larger events. This venue can accommodate up to 90 guests for a cocktail reception and 55 guests for a seated reception.
