Jackie Kozak, also known as DJ Jacster, is the talented owner and primary DJ of Scaraoke Entertainment. Specializing in a wide range of music genres including top 40, rock, country, electronic, hip-hop, international, jazz, oldies, and pop, Jackie is always up-to-date with the latest tracks. Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, and raised in Ontario, Jackie made the move to Calgary in 2003 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree.

During her first year at university, Jackie landed a job as a karaoke host, hosting up to three shows a week. After two years, she took over the company that hired her, bought all the equipment, and launched Scaraoke Entertainment. Fast forward 17 years, DJ Jacster now operates full-time, offering both karaoke and DJ services seven days a week, with a team of talented DJs by her side.

One of Jackie’s greatest strengths as an interactive DJ is her ability to read the crowd and play the perfect tunes to keep them dancing all night long. Her impressive range of events includes weddings, jack & jills, seasonal banquets, corporate and private parties, anniversaries, birthdays for both adults and children, graduations, fundraisers, backyard BBQs, and much more.

In addition to her DJ skills, Jackie is also an exceptional public speaker and offers her emcee services for events that require a lively and engaging host comfortable with a microphone. Licensed and insured, Jackie is a proud member of the Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association (CPDJA). Her dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed, as she was awarded the Business Excellence Award by the Bradford Board of Trade (BBT) in 2018 and the Home Based Business Award at the 2019 BBT Gala.
